PS3 games for a 5 year old?

Hey guys my nephew is getting a ps3 for his christmas (lucky little boy), can someone recommend some good games for a 5 year old?

The lego games are fun, and has co-op, quite easy but loads to do in all of the games. If he's getting PS move then theres quite a few mini game collections he may like, could also try eyepet with move. Quite a few PSN games would be fine for him, cant recall names but there are a few demos for them on PSN.

As above. Get the Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection.

It's something I always tend to recommend for younger kids, plus it's also a way to force them to play retro games so they don't get spoilt by modern games and serves as a little bit of a history lesson as well.

Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing is quite a decent Mario Kart-style racing game which is also suitable.

LBP might be possible if you play co-op, single player might be a little too difficult.

My son plays Lego Star Wars and Lego Batman the most, very forgiving games.

My grandson who is 4 has a lot of fun with the Lego series of games,also fat princess,split second,and GT Prologue.

My 5yr old has completed COD4 MW on his ps3. Halo Reach on his 360 and Super Mario Bros on his Wii.

I got him and his younger brother started on the old retro games, cos they were simplier, and his younger brother completed Final Fight when he was two !

In this weather? playing in the park is good but not always possible or sensible.

id recomend as many others have LBP & the megadrive collection and maybe sonic 4 on the psn

also somthing like flow (snake like game) or the rubber duck thing that uses the six axes that was one of the first psn games.

also look into somthing like bejeweled, personally i hate it but on infinity mode it will give him the hang of the game without being rushed.

Also Eye Pet for the PS3 is a good laugh with kids his age, my 3 yr old loves it as do my neices (5 & 10)

and if hes a music lover try singstar/rockband/guitar hero.
