Thx Superewza

Isn't my choice better for roughly the same price than the 'Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9)', C7 compared to C9?

Need a modular PSU, as the excess cables will only make it harder to tidy-up and possibly affect the airflow.

'NZXT Vulcan Micro ATX Gaming Case', one of the cases I was having a look at, but still not sold. :)

500GB will be more than enough as it'll be system only, and all data will be stored elsewhere.

Hadn't thought about a 3rd party cooler for the CPU, tempted by a Noctua or even one of the Prolimatech, but the latter doesn't seem to cater for AM3, and space may be an issue in a smaller case. What's the reason for the one you chose over the other offerings?

Liking your choice of headset and mouse, is there a reason there's no G9 on OcUK. ;)

Why the Logitech K300 Compact Keyboard, not a gamers choice, sorry, but maybe I should have mentioned that that would be the primary function of the PC?

Never had any problems with the Pioneer optical drives, so probs opt for your choice over mine.

Yeah, it should be. I didn't look at that one.

If you have the money then go for it, i've always been a strong believer in the '10p/W' theory when it comes to value for money in PSUs, but if you feel it's worth it then they're both solid units.

Probably the best mATX case around, doubt you'll find a better one in that format.

Fair enough, just generally since it's about £10/5 more for twice the storage space it tends to be worth it, but no point if you're not ever going to touch it.

The Nero S is a great cooler, from what i've read the best Akasa has - putting it at least equal to coolers for £40-£50. Besides, air coolers nowadays are much the same. Is it really worth spending up to twice as much on something that might be cooler by a number of degrees you could count on one hand?

Not that i know of, but they're not the only etailer ;)

Just the best keyboard on the site for the price really, the Logitech Classic 200 is a brilliant keyboard for any use, especially at £10. But since there's so much slack in the budget i went for a few models up. I don't really agree with spending £50 or so on a keyboard unless it's mechanical.

Never had any problems with the Pioneer optical drives, so probs opt for your choice over mine.

Yeah, they're easily the best manufacturers until you start spending about twice as much, it's an area a lot of people just go for the cheapest option on but it does make a difference.
