Drinking recepticles, and is my mate retarded?

A while ago I asked for a SHOT of johnny walker and I was giving it in a tall glass... Still drank it though and when I looked at her I think she realised I wanted it in a shot glass.

I could have moaned and said I wanted it in a shot glass but the glass I was given still served its purpose so who cares.

He sounds like a Total Willy headed Anal Twit.. (work it out) :D

I knew some 1 like this, lets just say after a few times you have enough of them and feel better once you've gotten rid of them. I understand his reasoning for some, like plastic warms beer faster, wine glasses and going flat and such things but to constantly complain about it is annoying!

the glasses are purely promotional for this type of crappy lager

They're there to promote the alcohol that's sold  I'd imagine they come at considerable discount or maybe even free from the suppliers compared to normal glasses.

Regardless of whether they make a difference to the beer or not, they are there for a reason. Like i said, if they werent meant to be used all glasses would be standard, and i wouldnt have been told in my bar training to use the right glass wherever possible.

First question: We're down the pub, and my mate complains to the staff that his stella was served to him in a 'fosters' glass when he could see they had a load of Stella glasses free ...Fair enough complaint? Or retarded?

Pointless whining but if there were glasses free one should have been used.

Secondary question. We went to a boxing match and he refused to drink any beer because to get past 'no glass in the arena' the bottles were actually made of very hard, non-pliable plastic rather than glass. So he doesn't want any for that only reason. Again, fair enough or retarded?

Fair enough I don't like drinking out of plastic cups or bottles either.

Final question: Round other mates house - having champaigne. He gets it in a wine glass. Guess what -- he's moaning about it and saying 'May as well drink £4 a bottle plonk' :/ -- Sophisticate? or Spanner?

Retarded
