Watch out GD, being a Troll will land you in jail.

I'm sorry but this is ridiculous. Bullying and harassment is a part of life. Man up.

Doesn't this affect his rights of freedom of speech, or freedom of own opinion? What the hell is this? Man, I think the whole staff of The Daily Mail and The Sun should just flee now because you know, they never post anything with the malicious intention to harm someone, it's just news.

No. Cyber bullying, is quite a serious thing these days. What's worse it, at times you don't even know who it is. Kids are mainly affected by it. And now we're in the Facebook age, it's even worse.

Indirect harassment is the most worse imo. You can never tell if someone is harassing you, but you have a feeling they are. Cue Paranoia.

He deserves what he got, doing what he did on purpose is totally different to sharing a opinion.

Doesn't facebook have a ban/ignore/block function? (Sorry I don't facebook much)

Yes it does. A block button infact. And also a Panic button for children, if they suspect someone they're speaking to is going to cause them harm, or sexual harassment.

However in the "trolls" case, there is only so much a group admin can do to ban accounts over and over. It gets repetitive.

And for him to make multiple accounts, I wouldn't call that freedom of speech. I can clearly say as said in the article, he did it for his own gratification.

So freedom of speech means you have the right to harass and intimidate people?

Just ****ing block them.

Yeah, it would be an easy option to. But then it spreads, groups get made, fake profiles, etc... It's really sad tbh. It doesn't happen to everyone, but to those that it does, it can really mess up their life.

I guess with anything in this world, there's always to uses, one for good, and one for bad.

set it so only friends can post messages... and stop accepting any buffoon who adds you.

I'm not speaking about myself btw. I'm just going on what I've heard from family/friends. And some articles in my time.

It's never happened to me.

If someone harasses me I'd take an AK47 to their face

The Police now need to send a clear message and seize the PCs of every family with school age children and go through their Windows Messenger log files, and also demand Facebook hands over the entire contents of everything.

Oh, and in before all internet forums everywhere are closed down.

O well there goes every comedian off to jail. Such fail.

I felt a little down today.... a better not finish that in case the judge decides its not his kind of joke.

So it's illegal to write "Greedo shot first". That is clearly covered by 2a.

This is what happens when you write laws so broad that they may as well just read "everything is illegal unless you can prove otherwise", which the previous government was particularly fond of doing.

Seriously though, this type of law is typical of our disgusting previous government, who took away a lot of our freedom.

lol
