EDIT would possibly cut the bottom off it to remove the two distracting objects at the left and right hand corners?

The geordie in a football top while everyone else is wrapped up for the arctic! Sam is just in front of him and to the left of the image. To the right is Mr Jones, to the left of the geordie (your name escapes me now) the guy with the long hair and glasses, and the guy just to the right of him? Mr Ubercool with the large shades on in blue just behind the bald headed guy in red near the front? and the guy in the blue checked shirt? Thats all the people with cameras who look as if they're nerds

My first ever shots on a camera taken with the auto mode turned off
In some ways I wished I had stuck to snapping in auto mode as there were a couple of shots I tried that my camera didn't have the the apperture range for and ignorance of this was bliss, now it bothers me...

On the plus side it was good to meet new people and I did pick up some useful tips..

Nope. Random stranger.

dead pixel between centre and left window as well?

Hmmm... (check, check...) It isn't in any other image. It turns out to be three bright pixels plus a light on. My money is on something floating in the air caught in the girl's flash.

When I chop the bottom off, the bridge seems to get cut off too sharply.

I'd like to take the picture from the top of the steps in StPaul's South wing...
