Hi Guys,

Just rebuilding my own PC and want to use the old components in a PC I am building for my mum.

My old MB is a ASUS P5N-E SLI with 2GB RAM. To keep things cheep I was looking at the following Case OcUK Poseidon ATX Tower Case - Black (400W PSU). The thing I am not sure of is if the PSU that is installed in the case will work with this MB?

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-023-OP

The MB PSU requirements are :-
ATX Power supply (24 pin and 4 pin 12V plugs). ATX 12V 2.0 compliant

And the case PSU specs are :-
ATX 400W (20+4)

I know in my old setup I had 2 leads plugged into my MB, a 24 pin plug and a 4 pin plug.

Can anyone advise if the case PSU has both connectors?

I also plan to use this GPU if that makes any difference :-
Gainward GeForce 8400GS 512MB DDR2 PCI-Express Graphics Card.

Thanks in advance

An old CIT one i have lying about is rated as 20+4 but has all the connectors needed for a standard motherboard so that one should be fine

The psu in that case will be garbage. £27 for a case and psu is just too cheap and there will not be the slightest bit of quality in either.

It will be just fine. the psu will have a split 20+4 pin mobo supply (so that it can be used witj the much older 20 pin mobos. it will also have a 2x4 pin cpu power lead of which you may use either 4 or all 8 pins to the other mobo socket. frommemory Ithink the P5 series were 8 pin.

Anyway, all will be fine.
