Basically quite a few of my friends have been asking me about if the taxi fairs for halloween are higher rates like bank holidays etc. To my knowledge I think they are just normal but I can't say for certain due to being drunk as a fart when ever I've got a taxi on halloween in the years past lol.

Ideas?

Call your local cab company and ask them? Better still ask all these friends who want to know, to call?? I imagine it varies.

I don't know what's happened here but when did halloween become a big party night? Seems to be everywhere this year. This isn't aimed at the OP just in general.

Tried this and all the taxi drivers are actually self employed but use the company as a call centre, so prices vary wildly. Over the last month on the same weekday and approx the same time theres been a £4 variance in charges on exactly the same route everytime lol.

Oh I'm not going to a party mate and I don't even drink anymore lol. A few friends in uni accomodation have planned a movie night but I'm weighing up whether its worth actually forking out a **** tonne of cash to get there and back :(

Two other friends are in similar situations lol.

Should be the same price regardless of driver fare structure will be regulated by your LA as for tonight standard prices up here should be the same all over

Because it's another night to go out and get smashed?...

Can't really talk as I was out last night for a bit, but then would have been anyway.

Easy reason for normal people to dress up and go for a drink somewhere that will take advantage of the additional custom :p

Because it appears that the majority these days will take any excuse to go and get utterly trashed.

Frankly in my opinion it's pathetic, but maybe that should go in the unpopular opinions thread.

Should be no reason for anyone to charge more as it's not any kind of public holiday.

All you may find is that it's harder to get one (longer wait), that said, most people will have gone out for Halloween last night, as tonight's a school night for most people right...
