Don't BMW's count the number of flashes the ECU receives? I thought this was the latest way of getting out of warranty claims?
How many crash investigators' first or even twentieth thoughts, when a 3 series company car is involved in an accident, is to verify the fuel map is the correct one? They won't even have the equipment to do this, and they will have to drag a corpse of a car to BMW, or have BMW drag the equipment to the car specifically just to verify this one fact. So unlikely that it will basically never happen.[TW]Fox;17689951 said:And hope you don't have a big crash in the meantimeWhats the point

He said remapped, and to me that implies a flash rather than a plug-in module. People will usually call that "chipped", in the same way you "chip" your Playstation.[TW]Fox;17690528 said:He's talking about obvious plug in modules is he not?
Peternam is correct..
