I work part time in a cinema and don't understand why 90% of the people leave their rusbbish spread out on the floor, in the cup holders or stuffed down the back of the seat despite there being 18 bins.

Do you do it when out?! If not... Reconsider.

Thanks.

Being inconsiderate, mostly. I always try and take my crap with me. Though I have genuinely forgotton about stuff I have left in the cupholder or on the floor on occasion.

no bins in the cinema screens in my local vue...

I do at least stuff all my rubbish into the cup and leave it in the cupholder

Never, because I’ve been brought up properly and I‘m civilised unlike you’re pig ignorant litterbug customers.

I tend to take out what I take in. I'll stick my drink / popcorn in the bin.

I still think you charge too much for the ****ing stuff though.

I can easily believe 60% just leave their rubbish when they leave... the human race is generally very close minded, if it doesn't affect them they don't care.

Litterbugs are one of my pet hates, I really don't undertstand the laziness or disregard for the environment we all have to live in. Theres nothing worse than going to a park in the summertime and having to sit amongst other peoples crap when there are bins literally 10 meters away from where they left their 20 odd beer cans and other rubbish.

I kind of agree with what the post above says about it being part of your job though, if people didn't leave rubbish they could probably get away with hiring a few less staff and you may well be out of a job or be bored to tears with nothing else to do.

If we tidied up after ourselves, what would you do at work? Twiddle your thumbs?

I used to think this before i worked there... And its not true! We're usually understaffed and have around 5-15 minutes to clean a screen, which is simply not possible if the screen previously sold out (330 seats).

I bin my own stuff, Only thing I don't put in the bin is my drink if there's some left. Out of consideration for the person emptying it at the end of the day and walking away with half a cup of Coke down their front

Why don't you just display a message on the screen before the film?

"please take your **** out with you when you leave, saves me having to do some work"

I've never worked in a cinema, but I struggle to believe 90% of people leave their waste behind.

You'd be suprised. Movie for juniors is the worst! The parents can't even be bothered to put back the booster seats they get from wall opposite the screen.

I would if i had any say!

Not sure about the last bit... I enjoy working otherwise the time does drag. I just don't understand why people think its someone else's problem. I'm pretty sure most wouldn't do it at home = D
