Clearing away your own rubbish.

Because you are getting paid to clean up, and your wage is coming from the money I paid for the ticket, so why should I do it?

Its your job, you do it, and stop moaning jheeeze :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Hi guys I work in IT, can you stop contacting us with problems and sort it yourself so my job is easier. kthx.

Completely different.

As you leave the screen you walk pass at least 7 (of 18) bins in roughly 100 meters.

Not really. Tbh when I go the cinema I take out my own crap, but if I was employed as a cleaner, I wouldn't moan when I had to clean.

We're employed as multifunctionals so cleaning is not all i do.

Thanks for clearing up though... Perhaps i should have just asked the question "do you clear away your own rubbish?" instead to prevent backlash.

I always take my rubbish with me. I wasn't born in a field so why act it.

Though I do work in IT support and some aspects of that aren't fun, crawling under desks to get at ridiculously tight VGA connections sucks. But the rest of the job is good enough. Get over it OP.

Do you guys who are saying it's the OPs job to clean up after you also leave your trays on the table in fastfood restaurants?

Tbf if they want to call it a restaurant then then that's generally what the staff do
When I pay £2 for skittles then yeah I deserve to have someone feed them to me never mind throw it away :)

Because I've paid £8 to see the film, then £5 for a box of popcorn and £3 for a drink.

Am I going to clear it up as well? Am I ****

Its not the likes of me that charge those prices. And those that do, don't clean up rubbish.

Personally, i would take in my own food and drink.

I work part time in a cinema and don't understand why 90% of the people leave their rusbbish spread out on the floor, in the cup holders or stuffed down the back of the seat despite there being 18 bins.

Do you do it when out?! If not... Reconsider.

Thanks.

Try cleaning a secondary school, its gum galore! Plus everybody seems to have an amazing ability to walk past half a dozen wet floor signs, trample mud all throughout your shiny clean wet floor, fall over and swear at you :confused:/:p

I would never litter on the high street e.t.c. but in a cinema, yes, i leave my crap behind. I thought that was included in the price? :D

The stuff which puzzles me is when you see litter like McDonalds bags, drinks cups, cans etc scattered on the side of the road - is it really so difficult to just keep your &^%% in the car a little bit longer and throw it in the bin rather than chuck it out the window, disgraceful really - LifeBan tbh

I usually leave it there... The surchages on the food/drink more than cover the costs to clean the cinema, and they have such cleaning procedures in place to handle mess anyway, so why make more work for myself?

You don't go to a restaurant and clean away / wash your own plates do you?
