My parents are looking for a quiet car with hard seats and plenty of head room. None of this head touching the ceiling rubbish. To replace a SAAB 9-3 price £15K 2nd hand what would recommend :D

hatchback prefered.

oh forgot needs to be a automatic

get a fiesta and sit on some bricks

edit: your edit makes it less vague and therefore my post slightly less appropriate, however, it's still pretty vague!

I'm going to change my recommendation to a nissan cube based on your revision (retain bricks)

No, that's a saloon.

If you can get into the car from the boot, its a hatchback (or estate). If you can't, its a saloon (or coupe)

Hatchbacks aren't necessarily small - cars like the mondeo, insignia and superb are available as hatches.

I was just looking at those, 13k buys a low mlleage high spec car

They're massive and have the bonus of being a hatchback AND saloon to avoid confusion :)
