People have been sent to jail for defending their property. Tony Martin is perhaps the most famous example in the UK.
Yes, you bloody well can. FFS. If your life is in danger, you can do what is reasonably necessary to defend yourself.
There is no right to defend your property. Even if there were, Tony Martin shot an unarmed boy in the back without warning with an illegally held firearm. WHAT A HERO.

Why is it people always assume those who take drugs are sad losers with miserable lives looking for an escape? You know that people from all walks of life dabble every now and then right?

The police/teachers being able to give chavs a whack round the head to make them behave and show respect.
Because thats the only the reason I can think of? Tell me, excluding peer pressure, why would anyone want to take drugs unless to 'escape' and experience something different from 'real' life.

I don't take drugs any more, but I have done in the past - all types, it was great.
I did't take them because I was unhappy or my life needed enhancing either, I took them because they were fun.
You'd be surprised how many lawyers, police men and women, doctors, and other accredited human beings take drugs. I am not just talking cannabis either, I'm talking lots of cocaine. This is from first hand experience too.
You're one of those 'DRUGS ARE EVIL' people so how the hell can I convince you? Even the horrible evil drugs like ectacsy and LSD are less harmful than alcohol, but they have such a stigma that people like you are rolling about and spoiling it for the rest of us sane-minded individuals.
I bet you drink as well. That would make you a massive hypocrite. If you don't drink then you're just a bore and I'm wasting my breath on you.

Hmm thats quite an opinion. He doesnt seem to be able to win there. Effectively, you are saying the only acceptable thing to do is to take drugs.
If you dont take drugs but drink, you are a hypocrit. if you dont drink or take drugs, you are a bore.

I have a wicked life, an amazing other half, great job with prospects and well paid. Great family and friends.
I like certain substances too, it adds to my life. Why is that a problem? Do you think that of all people who enjoy something?
