I think this is from a few weeks back when they did there first runs during a track day which I know was simply not going to work as this thing is so much quicker than anything out there. I know they plan to head back and see what it'll do on a clear track, I know 6'11 is a nice number to beat....:cool:

That's just insane, would love to be in the drivers seat. The video actually looks like it's been sped up at some points, absolutely surreal
 
A friend of mine runs the main dealer for these in the UK. Next time I go back if I'm lucky he said he's going to hook me up with a drive. I must admit, I'm pretty excited about it!

I had dinner with Bennett and some other mates about 2 weeks after that video was shot, so I got to hear all about it first hand, do I win? To sit with him and Mike Wilds as they debated 6 minute laps of the Ring was to realise how far away we all are from being 'proper' quick.

Wasn't for the Driftworks review by anychance? Looked like he was getting upto the right kind of shenanigans :D

As for the Caparo, I'll state the obvious and just say my word it looks fast! Shame the track wasn't traffic free so we could see what it is really capable of.

Holy moly the sound that things makes, the faster it goes the better it sounds :D

And yer, it absolutely SCREAMS past some of the cars there, be very interesting to see how it'll do on a clear, dry track!
 
Here's a pic for you, my friend already got to spend a little time in it too so my test drive's looking promising :) The R26 is my friends, he's the guy who put me in touch with the Caparo owner.

This thing was a full 7 seconds quicker than the Gumpert and the like around the Top Gear track... I know that doesn't mean much but 7 seconds is a massive, massive number. 2sec quicker than the Ultima GTR on it's unoffficial test, too.
 
It is by some margin the quickest road car on the planet around a track, when sorted an Ultima won't see where it went.

The new V8 Atom might stand a chance on the TG track as it's not a big track and no big straights.

Awesome vid, awesome car.

The XFR looks like a tank, as the T1 goes past. Insane.
