i can't really include the amount i spent over the years modifying cars as i got some enjoyment out of that, though, in hindsight, i should've saved the money.

i went over to get some of my stuff from my parents house earlier, one of which was a diesel jacket i spent over £200 on because it was in the sale, i remember getting it home (going back about 3 years now) and thinking 'i don't even like this'. wore it once.

in the garage at my folks place is a mountain bike i bought in january 2006 (again, in the sale) for about £300, went out on it about twice and it's now buried under a load of stuff in the garage.

Probably about £20 or so on a top or pair of jeans about 10 years ago?
I very rarely impulse buy, I think about purchases for a while beforehand and don't waste any money.

Tech.
I buy loads of mid range new tech - never top end and I think I buy more often to compensate.

Games I never play or played for less than 5 minutes.
Clothes I never worn.
Food I never eat.

Just small things really, glad I doesn't happen often though.

£1000 loan I took out to do my motorcycle training, Crashed my car (By mistake) and took the grand and spent all week getting drunk.

University. Waste of time, I learnt precisely the same as I could have taught myself. Just needed the real certificate :(

This.

After that probably food/drink when out as I spend a lot of evenings away from home playing/running shows. Learning to not associate pubs with drinking is not easy!

Quite easily alcohol/going out/the travel involved - unfortuantely that's the price you sometimes have to pay for being social.

My wedding. As much as we love each other in hindsight we would both rather spend £3 at a drive through wedding and have a party afterwards.

£3 or £12k really would have made no difference to us.

Probably my PC. Cost me 2k, and while it's a great machine, I wish I had only spent 1k.

going out on a saturday night and getting mullered, usually ends up spending around £60. :( it feels like such a waste when i look back and think of how much i've wasted....i had a bloody good time though.

also, another big money pit for me back when i was 16-21 was mobile phones, i had a new phone literally every month or two. sim free phones costed me a bomb! (i rarely ever sold the old phones on either)
