Totally agree on the facepacks/badges thing, they are releasing an all new facepack collection (something like 60,000 faces) on Friday, think its around 3gb but I always download it as the last one (which had 55,000 in I think) really just helped make it to dot the Is and cross the Ts so to speak. I also download the correct kits and badges/logos.
 
Not a face fan myself, takes up processing power in my mind when clicking on a player page... so its all about pace and finishing for me :D

But there is a huge logo pack out on fm-base or something, 9000 odd club/competition logos - its a torrent just under 1GB took me barely 30mins to get if that, so maybe get it tonight or before you get the game as least thats then a download out of the way.

Yup thats the logo pack I use, thats the site with the facepack too, for those of us who dont mind a lack of pace and finishing ;)

I am a real saddo I have actually mapped out the players I am buying, who is going out on loan and who is being sold as soon as I start my first save!

Is it preloading on steam , that would be handy?

I am going to wait on the backpack as they are releasing a new backpack on Friday and I want the up to date one.

second thoughts not so sure I want the face packs - maybe an alternate set of facepacks showing their girlfriends would be a nice touch!

EPL logos I would be more interested in

Wouldnt worry about that, im still in the big debate of who I start as! It'll either be Southampton (my team) which will take a fair bit of effort as I know we dont start with as much cash this season... Or ill be back at Burton Albion and really excited about the prospect of getting Stern John there!!! :cool:

Most are from FM10 - they usually work across the games as in the database each player and team still sits with the same unique ID.... I believe anyhow.

So there will still be people updating the Pics as the season goes on, ie if Rooney gets a red mohican, im sure a new pack will incorporate that etc
 
Probably going to run in the game using Juventus to get going with. Easier to get to grips with the meat and bones of the game with someone half decent, whilst at the same time needing a challenge to get success domestically and then Europe.

Which packs would you like? Obviously the updated facepack isnt being released until friday, but you could use the facepack from FM2010 if you wanted.
 
Cheers for that link (and bit of info re; when it will be released)

I was under the impression that the demo is the game but for half a season.
