I'm just going to leave this conversation now because I not going to win and I know this. One of the reasons I was ban was for having a go so I'm just going to leave it.

If you dont like the car then fine, I do and thats all that matters. The past is the past, deal with it

Motability car outside my office is an Evo X!

No its not, the Evo is not available on Motability and never has been.

The most exotic and powerful car on the list is either the 325d SE or the Mercedes E200. Both of which have £10kish downpayments which you dont get back.

The owner with walking stick and blue badge said that he got it through motobility with a significant amount on top. If he was lying then it doesnt bother me, but thats what he said :)

I didn't have a dig at his mobility. My father suffers from Arthritis so I wouldn't stoop that low.

I just stated his smile looked similar to that of trollface. Sorry if I have offended the OP or any of you other lot. I didn't want it to sound like I was having a dig, why would I? I have no reason to.

No it's not.
Nothing sporty or 'flash' is on the scheme - this is partially down to the 'group' insurance they offer.

Feel free to browse the cars on offer at the Motability website
FYI, theres a Mits Lancer 1.8 on the scheme, but that seems to be the 'most sporty'.

You can get various BMW Convertibles, so its not true to say nothing sporty or flash is available.

He could have bought it on the HP scheme which isn't bounded by the constraints of choice within the contract hire scheme.
If he did, then he'd have to pay for his own insurance and servicing. Just to give you an idea, over 4 years this would contribute just over £10k, although he wouldn't have to pay VAT on the price of the new car.

So both you and fox are wrong, or what?

But with a contribution from a motobility payment?

Ok, so its his car with a payment from motability.
So he is just not divulging the full details of the ownership of the car. Tbh, i couldnt care that he kept that part private.

Yes, like I say you are all right depending on which way you look at it. You can't get an Evo paid for on the mobility scheme (which is what your post implied) but you can buy your own Evo and get some money back via the mobility scheme.
