loads of badly modified cars(Dub love)

Is it just me or is the dub scene about as bad as it gets for people having no individuality and just copying each other?

Debadge it, slam it, stick some small tyres on some big BBS rims, hang a lei off the rear view, job done, rinse and repeat.....

so true mate, i thought the whole point of modifying is so your car stand out from rest
 
i get slightly annoyed as im a big fan of the old golfs, its rather keep them standard on the outside bar a change of alloys.

i cant get over the people who stick awful stickers all over them either.
 
cant see the pics/vids at all but if its about vw golfs then i know its going to be a load of scene clones with zero imagination who had modified crap like 4drs, diesels and other non-fast gti models
 
So many of those cars just look utter **** though.
Many of them must be undriveable with so little clearance between the tyres/arches?

The TT in first video looked particularly bad/rubbish/stupid/generic scene/moronic, etc...
 
VW shows are a real mixed bag and attract quite different crowds.

Everyone is trying to stand out from the crowd. Doing it well, and not making your car look like a chaved up heap is not easy.

To me it looks like there all trying to look the same!
At least with the rat/boyrace etc scene you get different types of rusted apparel/tat attached, but the Euro? scene is little more than one clone after another.
 
Yer, I can't stand the Euro stuff either. Whats the point of making a car ... worse.

Anything post mk2 golf is of no interest to me.
