Because it's up for sale - for £68k, about 15k less than what he paid last year.

I can't figure out if it's going to be in good nick or bad nick. Cosmetically it looks sound but if you know you're only going to keep it for a year would that make you drive it like you rent it?

It's certainly more tasteful than anything that's been daubed with the Stephen Ireland brush
 
I expect the dealer paid considerably less and is looking to make a few quid on it. I'm pretty sure there's a Gerrard fan who will pay a bit more to get their hands on his old motor
 
Can't say I could drive a car that Steven Gerrard has owned, it might make me go assault people in self defence.
