I need some help.

I am going to be selling my PC that i built about 3 months ago and was wondering how the warranties for the parts would work?

I bought everything from OCUK for the build so everything should have warranty. Should anything go wrong though, how would the buyer go about getting a warranty replacement?

Would they need my original receipt with my address and everything on?

I am confused about this as i dont want them to have my address, payment details etc.

Thanks in advance!

Not normally

Is warranty transferable in that way?

Thissounds like a disasterous idea. Many manufacturers warranties are for the limited period to the original purchaser. If that's the case with your warranties on parts here, then once you've sold it the warranty is invalid. If you act as the go-between then you are behaving fraudulently in representing you still own the goods when you don't.

Also - if you don't know the person you sell to, what a hassle to go through if there is a problem.

If you want to check the transferrability of warranties, you will need to read them yourself I guess. Still not worth the hassle in my view though.
