Best way to change insurance renewal date.

Hi all,

My insurance is due on Boxing Day. It's a bit of a pain in the rear inconvenient time to be honest. What's the best way to go about getting this changed to after the 21st Jan? Any 15 month policies I can look into? Anything at all?

10 month policies are common, would at least shift it to October next year. You also build up NCB quicker

could always get short term insurance or cancel within 28days of a new insurance policy.

Why is it a pain, its not like you have to ring up and buy insurance ON the due date is it

No it isn't but I could just do without the expense at this time of year. If I could get it changed to after the 21st Jan it can come out of Januarys wages.

Why not pretend it's October, and 'pay' the money for your car insurance into a secret bank account and get it back out again in December? :confused:
