It's mint, pin sharp, only thing it didn't come with is the soft pouch, apart from that, nothing wrong with it.

What's the next lens? After I got my 24-70 2.8L, I felt that I 'needed' a 70-200 2.8L. Never used it now. Now I want a wide prime, which coincidentally is about £900. I nipped into John Lewis Monday to buy a flash too, because I 'needed' it. No idea when I'll need any of it, though.

Topped up the savings account today which has started to look particularly healthy now I've decided not to bother buying a house which I was saving for with my ex... so am considering the 5d MkII, but again, I don't need it. Hell I don't even use my kit :/

Oh, great choice of lens by the way, it is a lovely piece of kit - have fun :)

Great lens, I'll miss mine a lot :( My downgrade nightmare is almost complete. I've gone too far in selling the body though, so I'm probably going to get a 7D again. Which will be nice :)

Hehe, I've been after one of these for a long time, thing is my pay got held up so I got paid 3 weeks in one go today...taking me straight back into the 70-200 2.8 IS market...so gotta keep my eyes pealed :cool:

Then 135L, 50mm 1.4 then 5D2 methinks...then other stuff like uprated flash, wireless flash system etc. Never ends!

Yes mate, £900 is the going rate for these at the minute. Hopefuls are selling them at £1150 ish but if they sell the person buying is either desperate and needs one quickly or they haven't done their market research.
 
the 70-200 f/2.8 IS is one lens on my wish list. With the prices dropping slowly it seems a good idea to get one soon but money is tied up till at least the new year.
