I'll leave it there without going any further as I might offend the typical £1500 Soarer buyer![]()

Im the same, the second the warranty is up on anything the main dealer can kiss my arse, except this Bentley, i'l suffer the main dealer for that.
I'm bumping this quote because in all the excitement, you may have missed what I said and I know you like to save a penny. You don't need to wait for the warranty to expire to go outside of the dealerships.
Not a particulary great idea if you like a pretty service book, but as long as you stick to the rules, your warranty is intact if you have serviced away from the dealers on day 1.

Rest assured Mark, the Approved Warranty is worth it when you hear that we want to charge you £5,000 odd to drop the engine so we can sort out something silly.

Cheers for that though Fett, and wait till you see the mats in my new motor when i lay my hands on it in a few weeks![]()
Aye, which he mentioned he would stick with the dealers for work. I meant other cars he has owned/ will own, in regards to servicing. I'll have a quick look at my extended warranties, see what can and can't be done outside of the network, I've never looked at the servicing aspect of it in all honesty.
Hang on, what new motor?
I'm going to go back and quote all your responses to why you shouldn't bother with a SL55 AMG and get a SL350/500 instead
Nice, whats the bhp/tonne work out at on that pig?
I'm still trying to get my head around it having more power than a Supersports!
