I do in a way regret not spending the spending "proper" money on one and buying one of the many, many "dregs" of the market. In hindsight I've gotten off relatively lightly, but I feel as if I'll be ever "polishing a turd" which isn't a nice feeling to have.
I'm bumping this quote because in all the excitement, you may have missed what I said and I know you like to save a penny. You don't need to wait for the warranty to expire to go outside of the dealerships.
Not a particulary great idea if you like a pretty service book, but as long as you stick to the rules, your warranty is intact if you have serviced away from the dealers on day 1.
Doesnt it depend on the warranty in question? What you say is definately correct for the 3 year manufaturer warranty - EU law mandates it - but for subsequent extended insured warranties offered by the manufacturer its less clear.

Cheers for that, i know that, its not actually the servicing i object to paying for its repairs, so up to the end of warranty im not paying for repairs but the second i am open to coughing up for them im off to an indy.

Sorry im never clear Bentley is the first car iv bothered with extended warranty, thats why i cant get hold of the new one for a few weeks maybe 2 because i want the continuity without the dealer im buying from involved, anyway long story short iv got to put another name on the book before i get it, but it is a bit special so worth it

Rest assured Mark, the Approved Warranty is worth it when you hear that we want to charge you £5,000 odd to drop the engine so we can sort out something silly
I know its a starter motor and the engine out.

It must be that magic blown diesel torque effect. It's ~265 bhp/tonne and driving 4 wheels and an unfriendly frontal area. I'm just calculating some in-gear times from a dyno extrapolation and it's not looking all that hot Mark, distinctly poofterish if I'm honest.
Have you considered an Elise?
