croc on plane kills 19 passengers

Actually it's true and I've got the picture that proves it!

And the fact it was small enough to fit into a carrier bag suggests the croc wasn't that big and therefore not that dangerous as a full sized one.

I'm ashamed to say that this part made me laugh:

Ironically the crocodile also survived the crash but was later killed with a machete by rescuers sifting through the wreckage.

'Crocs on a Plane'. :p

Jokes aside - why the hell would people panic? Did they think they could run off the plane or something?

Feel for the pilot and staff's families.

In an already confined environment Fight or Flight (no pun intended) is already working overtime.

I'm not sure I'd be comfortable in a plane that can tip over if the passengers stand up.

Seriously? Have you never been on a plane where they space the passengers out to spread the load. Im pretty sure that most commercial aircraft would be in trouble if all of the passengers ran to one side of the plane.

They were already in 'flight' though. :p

What was rushing to one side of the plane going to achieve, apart from the needless deaths of pretty much all involved?

You're right. I'm sure no sane person would panic if they saw a crocodile loose on a plane.

Erm.

I don't know why but i have a image of a crocodile sat in a passengers chair with a top hat, a fake moustache and a monocle. Then after some turbulence they fall off and everyone realises and panics.
