Wii - GoldenEye

Goldern Eye. :p

I was pleasantly surprised when I watched a couple of gameplay videos, I must admit. I was quite annoyed that GoldenEye was being remade, I thought it would be a better idea to just make an awesome new Bond game, than potentially ruin the memory of one of the best games evarr!!1

All the same, it doesn't look too bad, and I think the fact it's on the Wii may even play to its advantage.
 
This game does look good, but I played a ton of the original and like naffa i hope it doesn’t ruin the memory of the original.

Like many good remakes I want the game to bring something new to the table as well.

I guess we will find out soon.
 
Oh my word that actually looks awesome.

I was fully expecting something along the lines of the last terrible attempt at cashing in on the name they did with Rogue Agent.
 
The original GoldenEye 007 featured a cheat menu, Eurocom has confirmed the return of the cheat menu, which will be available from the start. All of the classic cheats will return

I must be wierd as i never really "got" the whole Goldeneye thing...

However that doesnt look bad at all. Not buying a Wii for it though
 
This might be the excuse i'm looking for the plug my wii back in over the holidays.
Looks really good, i hope the multiplayer is as gripping as the original.
 
I can't believe it, this is looking like its seriously the best game since the N64 game. Everyone myself included was so sure this was looking like a poor cash in, from Activision I'd expect no less either.

x2 I loved goldeneye, shame I sold my wii tho!.
Hopefully it comes out for ps3 motion or 360 lol.
 
Daniel Craig is the current Bond and the game is based on a modernised version of the Goldeneye film/story(Set today), so it makes sense. Its not like some of the other Bond games where they have used say Sean connerys Bond and set it in the 60's.
 
Is anyone playing this with the Wiimote, or are they using a classic pad?

Not a massive fan of FPS on the Wii with the mote tbh, so might pickup a pad if it's decent control wise for that?
