Was just wondering what sort of unique count companies are looking for when they advertise? I know it will depend on the company and size of it.

My wife has a forum that has been going a year that has 12000 uniques each month.I know this is very small but is that a good figure in terms of advertising for a small company ?? or are we unlikely to get any intrest with that count?

Thanks

12,000 uniques is a decent amount - you must have something like 100k pageviews or more with that?

At $5 CPM you could be making $500 a month. It all depends on what the forum is about though - what types of products and services could be targetted to your membership? If you have a very general membership, then the site is worth less than if it was very targetted around a specific demographic group.

Thanks fot the advice appreciated;)

Last mont we had 13,352 uniques
and 70,000 page views

The forum is a Pet forum anything to do with animals and animal welfare

Do you think I would be able to get some advertising on those figures ??

Definitely - take a look at buysellads.com. For good quality websites with a decent niche, you're going to earn more than via Google Adsense (in my experience).

Amazon Associates are also pretty big, you get a % of everything they buy during that trip.
Fairly obviously though, as with all advertising, make sure they are relevant, no point advertising gym equipment on a pets forum.

Does she currently use adsense or any other network for advertising atm?

Pet forum sounds good for advertising opportunities imo
