I recived this laptop yesterday from a compititor, and tbh with you its fantastic.

Mine came with a 500gb hdd in it instead of the standard 320, and also a i5 460.

Just a shame about the lower res monitor, but I can get over that.

If you want a fantastic deal on a 17" laptop go with this, you wont be disapointed.

As customers who have been into the shop since the weekend can vouch, the 3D performance of this laptop is incredible. If anyone is unsure, come and look at it in action.

Any comments of build quality? Most the reviews I've read where less then impressed with the panel, and the amount of flex in it. I've never owned any MSI products before, so those reviews are putting me off a little.

My last notebook was a Clevo M750U. This died a while back due to both lid hinges snapping (which severed cables going to the panel), and the GFX card frying. So I'm a bit more wary of build quality this time around.

I would expect a good 3 years of usage, anything after that is a bonus.

As long as you treat your laptop with respect the amount of flex in the pannel should not be an issue. The amount of people that open there laptops by pulling at the pannel at the side then wonder why the screen has started to bleed, well that because you snapped the inside.

Just lift it from the centre and you will be fine.
