The differences are subtle but they are there, mulliners make 6 or 7k maybe more than the standard GT.

Anyway **** it its been a good year and i earned 8k on the one im part exchanging so onward and upward :)

Fair play mate, was only poking fun... :)

I'm all for subtle... What are the differences?

Quilted leather, better tooled aluminium gearknob, crests on the headrests aluminium foot peddles.

Then a few options you might not have, reverse camera, soft close doors if its after 2006 1 inch bigger alloys, but i can have a set of speed multi spokes on this new one for another 1500 quid, im not sure about that yet, they are a 5k set of wheels though.

Oh yea and "coming home " or whatever its called, opens your gates / garage etc thats an option i think.

I do have to ask, do well written, long ads REALLY make a difference?

Personally I think it does (obviously more so on an expensive car than a £500 one)

Like Fox, I too put a lot of emphasis on the advert itself. If it's got good photos, is well written and explains in detail things like service history and any extras etc then I'll pay much more attention than if it was an advert containing poor quality photos of an unwashed car with hardly any information. An advert like that just tells me that the owner can't be bothered to spend 20 mins writing their advert so it makes me wonder if they could be bothered spending time washing/servicing and generally looking after their car.

Some people need to learn to type before they critisise others so hastily.

What? Oh no, my predictive text screwed up. That totally removes my right to an opinion on you coming into a thread ages after the argument has finished and... having a go at people for still arguing

The comment was more aimed at how the discussion can anally go on for up to five pages, and is quite **** to read like most threads ruined by morons in these parts these days.

If you dont like it, dont read it. Those involved enjoyed a debate about advertising cars in a thread about an advert for a car. The OP even commented that it was a pretty decent debate. Thats what we do here, if you dont like it, go away. Seriously, what an irritating response. You wade in after the event basically to call the people who participated morons? Nobody else had a problem with the way the thread went, we got two sides of the coin and it was pretty interesting.

Looked in a mirror lately? The place isnt exactly full of your glowing contributions now, is it?

I knew you'd be the only person to reply to that also, so no bonfire igniting suprise there then.

Bonfire igniting, ha, like coming into a thread after it's changed to something else to **** people off for still discussing something they've stopped discussing you mean?

I wouldnt turn a car down if it was a potential bargain because of poor grammar. If it wasnt too far and I was in the market for one I would probably go and have a look at it.

I wish I was in the market for one :(

is the GT pack thing factory ??

i've only ever heard of the aero pack, but that isnt it as the rear spoiler is wrong for the aero kit.

I'd rather go see one where someone can't spell than some who includes

This Porsche is not For The Faint Hearted Or The Shy Type. This is a Real Head Turner You Will Put a lot Of Super Cars To Shame, No Expence Has Been Spared On This Baby.

Must be rubbish then.

It's Tiptronic, I don't like Tiptronic.

It's got an S badge on to make people think it's and S when those who care will know it's a sad fake.

It's got 997 wheels on and it's a 996, again it's not a good look and I have never liked those wheels.

It's got sand beige interior, it's awful, always has been.

It's got crap non sports seats that look tired.

It's likely (an assumption of course) to have been ******* hard and maintained light and be patchy of history, but if that is in fact wrong and it's perfect.......see above!

Clear?

Most of that is relative!

Says FSH.

Clear as mud.

but i can have a set of speed multi spokes on this new one for another 1500 quid

Would jump at them for that price. That's less than the surcharge for a single brand new speed wheel!

Just be careful where you leave it (even more careful that you usually would with a Bentley :p). Speed wheels do go "missing" a hell of a lot :D.

I love it when people argue about pork with Housey.

Why because he's had a few? Most of those points were base on it's visual appearance, and the one important point was just an assumption?

Apperance - Relative, I think the wheels look good on it for example.
