If you were to buy a GTX460 with your own money today with the same rig as mine (22" monitor, 520W PSU), which one would you stump for as the best in price vs performance/features?

The difference is ones a gtx470 and ones a gtx460 lol. The gtx470 is worth the extra £40 imo because its a faster card and if you overclock its even more worth the £40 difference. The gtx470 also comes with a bit more memory. What make is your psu as a gtx470 likes a lot of juice. At that price the gtx470 is probably one of the best bang for buck cards around but so is the gtx460.

I just bought that one.....quiet? Doublechecked the fans were working!....idles at 31-33 degs in my system..(maybe less if I turned case fans higher)...Only played MOH ATM but it only went up to 51 degrees...(all this from an overclocked 460) while my old gainward 260 gs went to 71. Maybe more oc potential than the other Gigabyte 460?

chose this over a standard 470 due to less noise/heat.

Having said that..I just got the temptation bug & tbh....at my res of 1680*1050 my old 260 was still going strong.

Considering the Talon attack has "military class" components, it only has a two year warranty while the gigabyte has three.

It's also a good £30 more. I'm assuming i can just get the Gigabyte and OC it some more and get close to the Talon speeds.
