received his package today......and thats exactly what he did. 3 old pci cards in the box.....i made the video of me opening it for paypal....
they said they cannot use this as evidence but have escalated it to a full claim now
it was listed as full retail unopened new and boxed

it did but it had buyer protection which was the only reason i went for it....

........i think im going to make another youtube video and email it to him (the seller) with some choice words...its the only way i can contact him....wont do any good but it will make me feel better...thats paypals problem....this is why we pay them fortunes for there services.... they said they would pass the info on to the police.....sorry "state troopers" in the event of finding him guilty which they will because he is

I understand but I remember having a similar problem years ago and even thou I won the claim, I could never get my money back as all paypal do was tell the seller to give the money /attempt to take funds from his bank account, as his bank account was closed/empty, basically, I'm still waiting for the money

i think in the last few years they have tightened there protection right up....nowadays they pay you and try to recover the money at the other end
Did you get that other 980x and what happened with your cash?
I doubt that, specially if it's international.

damn i would never trust that on that site, been burn to many times on high value, if you want to get it cheap make sure you do your homework, like rating and communicate with the seller, and see what the responds is
I tend to avoid ebay as well, I look at gumtree a lot because a lot of people in london use it so I can just pick things up and make sure they are what I pay for. Also I always get people's addresses this way in case I have to take them to court
