*****Ultimate Football Manager 11*****

Decided to try File Front again...downloaded a lot faster :p unpacking 'em now.

Do need the logos, but will wait on them, depends if the speed decides to pick up or not!

I used this place for logos, but it's last years and a little patchy.

I can't seem to get any of the links on sortitout working. I get php errors on every download page (at least I think it's a php error, I'm not a code monkey).

Edit. Those are quite nifty bayo. Cheers for the linky :)

I'll have to try and get this on the works interweb tonight while everyone in Europe is asleep. if i had a clue how to upload to usenet i'd do it!

EDIt: part 1 coming down from filefront at about 2MB a second. That'll do. Beats my 4Mb a sec at home!

EDIt 2: decided to try and pull 2-7 all at once. Network usage went from 1% of 1Gbps to 8% :) If my maths is right that's about 10MB a second download. All 6 are about halfway through and have 2 mins left so it must be around that.

Has anyone managed to download the Steklo skin from SortItOutSI.net? I can't get the page to load properly and haven't all day. :(

You do realize the only one I can see is the one for FM2010 to my knowledge he has brought one out yet.

Regarding Tugs Training :( -

Hey guys, just to confirm what I posted on my twitter page. Due to being in my final year of university and other various commitments, I will not be making any schedules for FM2011. Recently, I've neglected these schedules, with no updates made and no replies to the countless emails I have received regarding them.

So, I'd just like to take a moment to thank everyone who has used Tug's Training over the years, and I hope that it's not only helped you in some way, but opened your eyes to just how important the training aspect is. Hopefully you'll attempt to create your own in the future; if I can do it, you can.

Thanks again guys, and as always: happy FMing.

Mark

Still not found any training schedules :(.

Can it be that hard really? pretty standard what aspects of training you want from different positions.

I used Tug's training but only as a template, always changed the training for each individual anyway. Best way!

How is FM11 anyway? not going to be getting it this year as i will literally hibernate for the next 6 months....not good for me at all! :p

Hi guys, i started a game with rangers (like literalyl only 2 games into the season), im wondering,

1, does the new patch add any BIG improvements as im playing unpatched right now, like too many injuries and yellow cards atm.

2, i dont know anything about scottish football or the teams :P anyone got any reccomendations for signings for rangers?

cheers.

Good choice ;)

The patch pretty much only deals with the change in ownership of Liverpool, the points deduction for Dundee and a few bug fixes, not a massive change though.

As for signings for the gers, they have no money at all, so i would really look at getting some players in on loan, for example, Macheda and Rafael are both loan listed at Man Utd. The rangers team is pretty good to start off with, it's just quite lacking in the midfield. Mcgregor is the best keeper, and Bougherra is brilliant at CB. Davis is fantastic as a supporting centre mid, and Weiss is a sensation. Jelavic and Miller play very well together up front aswell. If you want to offload a couple of people and try and get a bit of a transfer budget, get rid of McCulloch, Broadfoot and Lafferty, they are useless. The youth system at Rangers if fantastic, so for the future you should keep an eye on the young players coming through.

You should have no trouble against most of the SPL teams, Celtic will cause you the most trouble. Make sure you beat them :). Try and make sure you get into at least the group stages of the Champions League also, you get plenty of cash for it.

ah thanks a lot mate, some great advice there cheers.

Work again in the morning :(

Do I risk no sleep and forcing myself awake until monday night ready for a Black Ops day Tuesday?

Does training actually really play a part in this game? I mean I never change it from default, rarely if ever sign coaches (only do when one of the existing lot are retiring or poached).

Still had a fair amount of success in the game in various careers from Aberystwyth, Young Boys, Koln... up through to big clubs like Real etc

Its the same with tactics for me, just use the base 4-3-3 no changes, put in my best XI and go. The only thing I really get involved in is buying and selling players... I dont even bother with my reserves/U18s and cancel their leagues and if I can their player contracts to give me more salary for the firsts.

My Asst. does all my Press Conferences, friendlys etc - the only thing I do on gameday is the team talks as the confidence factor still simmers in the game, so the wrong words could see a 4-0 lead evapourate in minutes.

Outside of that its just hold down spacebar and let the game chug along :D

Anyone else play the game like this? I know id be better off with 97/98 or 01/02 but as im a realism freak' I need the new competition setups, financial world, players etc
