Was looking through my order history on OcUK for the model of black dragon ram (needed to double-check the timings) and was amazed at my order history. And worried

First Order: 01-December-2006
Latest Order: 06-November-2010 (Today)
Total Spent: £5145.92!!!!
Total Orders: 43

Seriously, HOW MUCH???? There are 3 complete builds in there, including my latest i7 overclocked bundle. And my home server (Never knew it was 3 years old in december). I know I had orders on the old site too, but of course they are lost to me.

So OcUK forumites . . . How much, how long, and how many?

not a lot, probably about £200 over all my pc owning years.

I find I can get better prices else where, with free delivery, or more local to me so i dont have to worry about spending money on postage if I need to RMA something.

Usually with my upgrades the sale of my old parts makes up for most of the cost of new parts. Still, i reckon i have spent £500-600 spread between here and other retailers over the past few years.

I would hate to think what I've spent on pc's in the last 16 years. My 1st 2 PC's were pre-built & were the best part of £2K each. The one after that was £900 & then I began to build them myself, so I've been buying bits & pieces as & when I want them. The one I'm building for my dad is roughly about £300, I've saved a little bit by buying a few bits off the MM. At a rough guess I would say £5K in total.

Yes, agree, not going to add up total cost over all time cos I think Id cry, current PC is prob around 3k of custom built kit so go figure how much I must have spent over the years :(

I looked out of curiosity and now I wish I hadn't

From OC ~1900 from competitors ~300 on this build, I don't want to think what it will be if I start going back to previous builds. But I agree with who cares, its awesome having high spec pc's and I am happy to pay for it.
