English League Football ** spoilers ** [6th - 10th November 2010]

so no one thinks these financial fair play rules are worth anything then? interesting.

I think most people are taking it on a "I'll believe it when I see it" basis. And are probably safer erring on the side of people like Sheik Mansour having more knowledge about moving money around than UEFA.

We are playing two defensive mids but then 4 upfront so i dont see the problem? West brom are a good side so we cant have 10 upfront. No we have lost 3 games in row playing Milner-De Jong-Toure-Barry-?.
I am not worried about the UEFA rules because im confident that Khaldoon etc know what there doing considering they have made all their money through investments and so will know how to balance the books.
Starting off with selling:SWP,Jo,RSC,Bridge,Given and recalling Weiss so we can move Milner into the centre.

we'll see. though i do believe that your board have said that you're big spending is coming to an end? 'a short term investment in squad to bring it up to level' or something similar was how it was described wasn't it?

Big spending without selling is over i think. I am not sure about that.

Yeah it is. This was always the plan though, we needed large initial investment just to catch up to the other big boys. Only idiots thought we would carry on spending like that forever. When we get into the CL we'll have not only more income, but more reason for players to come. They won't need to be enticed here purely on the promise of riches.

I'm looking forward to Liverpool vs Chelsea.

On one hand, its Liverpool's chance to turn their bad start to the season around to some degree with a confident win.

On the other hand, its time for Ancelotti to put another huge nail in Roy's coffin by taking Liverpool apart and punishing them, hard.

:D

I very much hope it's the 2nd one. If Chelsea go out and play like they can they will rip Liverpool apart.

I hope not and 'Pool are able to stop them, I very much doubt it though.

Edit - how was that a foul? Already seen a few strange ones this game.
