Wanting a new monitor?

Hey guys, I'm wanting to buy a new monitor. Looking at 24inch and a really good picture quality.
Anyone know of any decent monitors that are reasonably priced?

If you can drop down to 23in (16:9, 1920x1080 res) then the Dell U2311H (uses an E-IPS panel) is an excellent choice. It has image quality almost as good as the excellent U2410, is a bit smaller and has less connections but costs much less. Here is an in depth review.
 
That's not the same the kind of panel we recommend for Dells. That's just a simple TN panel with normal viewing angles and colours. The Dells posted in this thread were IPS panels with better viewing angles (hence why so expensive).

The only advantage that dell has is a display port for eyefinity.
 
Nope I'm at university so I don't think I'll need anything that good. Although your tempting me haha.
Would the samsung be the next step down from those though?
 
You'd be better off getting one of the new BenQ *VA panels, such as the EW2420. They offer superior colour reproduction, contrast and viewing angles over all of the non-IPS monitors you'be been looking at. They can't quite match the IPS monitors for colour accuracy but they are very good nonetheless and fantastic for the price.

Just a shame their not out yet. Is there a price confirmed yet?

Or from what I read the BL2400PT from BenQ is the same monitor as the EW2420 and in stock places :?

Also whats the difference between Samsung B2430H and P2450H
Seem so similar

Yup - the BL2400PT uses the same panel. The bezel isn't glossy, it has a fully adjustable stand but lacks the same level of inputs and (thankfully) lacks some of the (horrendous) BenQ Senseye presets.
