Hey I've been cutting back lately, by the time I get into a MikeH epic people have already made all the points I would :p

Ah yes, but you are the icing on the cake Fox!

I'm not sure you realise how similar the DC2 that he's driven is to an EK9.

But Mike has said he's driven an EK9, by the sounds of it he either hasn't, has but wasn't insured at all or has found a really good way to get test insurance for young people.

If he is talking about the EK9 he sat in on Saturday I have it under good authority that he was a passenger only.

(He also shook for the duration of the ride, hung on for dear life and had to have a cigarette as soon as the test drive finished to calm his nerves)

Maybe this is why he likes them so much, they are like a rollercoaster when used down south :)

EK9's are great cars, thats all I have to say on the matter. This one was not my only one and I will have another.

Regarding Mikehiow lets see what he eventually ends up with.

O_o

Can't say I'm a fan but that opinion means nothing as that type of car would never appeal to me anyway.

What's the deal with it being in kph still? Isn't that a nightmare over here?

Thanks for the clarification :)

I suspect he will now argue that he never actually said he drove it. Which of course he didnt, but the implication was there. I mean getting a lift in something isn't exactly the best way to decide if you want to buy it, especially for such a focused car.

I'd be a bit sceptical letting a racing driver like Lewis Hamilton or MikeH drive my car without insurance, they are obviously going to take it to the limits. They'd definitely be a passenger only.

Didn't a few pages ago Mike mentioned something about the EK9 being better/different than the DC2 when questioned why not get one of those instead? Said it was based on a "much newer chassis" or something along those lines?

.

Jesus Christ. That post has literally made my day! :D.

The whole thing has just depressed me, the Porsche driver got a wooping off 2 mini's by the look of it too :(

Who is Pete Hughes in the Strada? I understood MikeHiow owned the Strada.

With regard to Honda, have to say I've never driven a vtec. Quite like DC2 and Accord Type R. Is the change in profile of the vtec actually noticeable?

Look on some Youtube videos - its definately noticable in a DC2

It's his Dads.

I guess its a bit like me saying I own an E60.

I own an Agila :( :(

Will do. Its just the thought of having to rag the bejesus out of the car to get it working. Really need to have a go in one. Thinking the Accord might be a cheaper alternative to an Impreza?
