Mac mini worth it part 2

oh hi,

So I know I am not allowed to talk about but i got a M-atx system that erm likes fruit...

I also have a macbook and after extensive use of both systems I like OSX now. My dilemma is do I continue with what I have until Lion comes out then buy a proper mac mini then?

or get a mac mini before the vat rise?

The Mini will just be a more compact version of what you have now, with a premium price for no real reason. I'd stick with what you have, at least you can upgrade it if you want too.

I'm starting to use my system more and more and am scared that something will break, what I'll do is what for Lion then buy a Mac Mini/iMac upon it's release. My system should be ok until Lion comes out.

You could move your home folder to an external drive if you're worried.

I am nearly done with legitimising my macbook after a number of years of illegitimacy on the software front. Never felt too bad about it as I always buy something once I have the money for it, till then I can't get too upset about "testing" things.

If you buy one then obviously you gain the benefit of the warranty and after-sales service from Apple. These are always important features to me.
