nicest thing you boy / girl ever said to you

I must have had a completely different upbringing to you guys then as my parents were never naked in front of me!

The only time I've seen my dad naked is when we had a house fire and he was too sleepy to realise, he was just trying to turn off the fire alarm as he didn't notice all the smoke billowing from the kitchen. He sleeps nude it appears.

lol

My 20 month old daughter ran up to me, gave me a hug and then told me she loved me for the first time just this weekend.

Being the alpha I am I held back the manly tears of happiness :)

All round. :)

Nice thread.

Got a 4y/o girl who simply amazes me with her grammar. Just today we had a situation whereby she has a party at 4.30pm this Thursday, wife unfortunately cannot go, and im at work until 5.30. Now we're having this conversation as we walk up the local main street, whilst she's holding my hand, pretty much looking around at the world as 4 year olds do. Conversation is between me and better half takes about 2-3 mins, mix of english and Spanish as we do. My last words were, "cool i'll speak to my boss, doubt he'd say no to me leaving earlier if I work through lunch"...followed by a lovely kiss on my hand and "dad, have I told you that apparently you're awesome".

Little things like that, use of the word apparently just made me lol (in a good way)

As for my one year old bruiser of a lad, he's much more of a boy (obvious stereotype). Still, he's experimenting putting words together but his party piece when I come home from work is, as I crouch down to say hello, is to toddle over to me, rest his head on my thigh and release an almighty "AWWWWWWwwwww dada!". Every single time. Man tears ahoy!

Honestly, it is just way too much effort to not be seen naked by the kids. Who could be arsed.

This, though I've given up having a bath with said 4 year old daughter. Just feels a bit weird, though obviously thats my own thoughts/preconceptions, not hers.

It wasnt me, but there was this young bloke at work, looked a bit of a jack the lad type and he was with his daughter, who was this blonde cutey, and very young, and he was at the checkouts with her and for some reason there seemed to be a lull in the sound of everyone and speaking very loudly the girl said "Daddy i love you with all my heart" que 40+ people all saying "Awwwwwwww" the lad just smiled and said it back to her, was really heart warming.

One memory that will always stay with me is basically because of what my mate said.
It was about 20 years ago and my youngest was toddling around the floor in a Workingmens Club.
She grabbed my legs and I helped her to get up on my knees.
Without any warning she just put her little arms around my head and gave me a great big kiss on the lips and my mate says "You can't buy that love".
You had to be there.
