I've crossed it several times, and been to Ecaudor and Colombia which are pretty much on it.

Singapore for me (Assuming that is closer than Maldives, which I think it is), but flown over it more times than I care to recall this year alone, and God knows how many times in the last 5 or-so years.

So who is closest right this moment?

I am in Kuching, Malaysia now, and was in KL yesterday, so probably not more than 200 miles or so...

The closest I've been is around 30,000 feet, straight up.
