Hi there

Been doing more research on Subarus and came across this on my travels, looks very impressive, just a shame its the ugly hatch:-

It certainly looks to go and handle very well, couple of good saves there as well by Richard Meaden. :)

Some videos of the older shape, the one I am interested in, gotta say the noise is very nice, shame EVO's can't sound that good:-

nom nom nom :P, Got to be honest, i never thought subarus were that nice sounding but i was WRONGG. I've always been firmly in the ''i would always choose a evo over a impreza'' camp but they look awesome. Still i have a thing for skylines and want one at some point

I had a 330S a few weeks back, enjoyed it a lot.

Totally different car mind to the last Sti I drove which was a WR1, less revs/more grunt, and a bit more "grown up".

Looks subjective - all Impreza's are ugly let's face it - just some are more ugly than others. To me it's the sort of car where looks aren't really that much of an issue/that big a deal - it's all about the drive.

Vid is a good view but it's left me wondering how the hell the back end managed to step out twice. Bit too much rear diff bias, maybe.

Their Type 20 hatch has been out a while ;) and once again really shows Subaru UK what they should be selling.

Just waiting to see what their new Type 25 will bring - should be fantastic as apparently their goals are greater than GTR performance.

Surprised by the fastest part of the track. Car seemed to begin sliding way too easily.

Aye, you can see him have a quick fiddle with the DCCD. They were also running Trefeos on a partially damp track.

Who was the guy on here who had the Forester STi?

They'll probably do it against a stock GT-R, Iain knows both cars well, to say the least. The previous Type 25 was properly quick on the road and you only have to look at their TunerGP and Time Attack results to see what it did on track against some very fast stuff. The only drawback with the Type 25 was its rawness. Personally, I'd find it difficult to live with it as an everyday car, the leather seats don't tell the full picture of a car with shocking road noise, rattles I never heard in my 'normal' scoob and odd low speed characteristics. Awesome weekend bit of kit though.

Mine wasn'ta FSTi. :)

It was a UK 2.5 FXT extensively modded including some OEM sti parts.. ;)

I did enjoy the Scoobs but the only ones that would tempt me back would be an S204 or Type C RA-R

..or maybe a spec D or A-line that has had Mr Litchfields special treatment :)
