Hi all, sorry to be a pain, but I assume most people who ordered from Tesco Entertainment have now get their copies or am I in for some disappointment when I get home?

Tesco haven't delivered mine. Was a bit annoyed yesterday but now I'm past that and I'm actually angry that I can't play a game lol
indeed.Sounds like Tesco are a no go for any preorders, as I have seen countless posts on multiple games about problems.
I certainly won't be touching them.
COD Forums:
I just sat and told you that the intent was to reduce soundwhoring overall ... not ruin the game for you personally and render your fancy headset worthless. You think I don't play with a headset?
I am going to show you the difference between a post that will help your cause and one that won't.
You said:
It's stupid how i can't tell where somebody is running just because people hated other people using their sense of hearing.
You should have said:
One of the things I really like is how Call of Duty had rewarded players who use their hearing. Unfortunately, in Black Ops, footsteps are mixed very low in volume compared to previous games making it difficult to predict where people are.
You could have then gone on to give some reference of games that, in your opinion, do it well. You could explain the issues succinctly and then politely signed off.
I am paying attention to this sound thread and the feedback about the sound in the game. But I am going to stop the minute people start "demanding" something or are rude.
I currently believe that Black Ops has a great overall mix, but we need to look at how the sound is working with sound based Perks like Ninja. When you play the game and ALL you hear are footsteps? That is not good either.
Anything we do here is not going to happen overnight, we have to make changes (if any) carefully, and not everyone will be happy. I can tell you right now it won't ever be "exactly like MW2." Even if we agreed that it should be (and we don't) we have very different audio technologies and audio design.
Viva la sound department.

I'm surprised about all the problems re: Tesco's orders. How can they be so slow, especially I wandered into Tesco Extra (Portsmouth) last night after work - 6pm ish - and they had many many copies of the game (inc. the microsoft points).
Oh dear. I am so glad I haven't spent serious dollar on headsets considering this games use of sound.
Anyone else really surprised by this?
Online is Waw with a skin. No doubt about it
