Is it ****. The weapons are excellent and the hit detection is spot on. I get next to no lag despite having an internet connection that noah had.

A good mix of customisation for those that like that kind of thing.

They have actually tried to balance the weapons. You can't snipe across the map with a SMG like you could in the others and while looking down the sights have made the SMGs far more usefull. You can no longer run around sighted with an LMG like your rambo either.

The sound is pretty poor, just about everything else is a step up from those other games.
 
I have just got the tesco ent order through the door. Ordered last Thursday and was despatched Sunday apparently.

Just watching some theatre clips. Quite a nice feature for saving those funny kills.

Grrrr veteren on SP is mega hard:p....having a hell of a time trying to get past the Khe Sanh bit where you go down the hill to get some napalm...doesnt help that the AI on my side are absolutely rubbish so offer me absolutely no help.

Might turn it down a level as i must have been trying for at least 30mins to get past that bit :/
 
My girlfriend pre-ordered me a copy back in June from tesco-direct i think it was, postman has been and gone............no game :(

Hit detection spot on ? Lmfao I have kill cams on my latest games on my theatre and people were getting hit markers in from thin air. I was trying to find the drop shot killcam which I seen last night , was just laughable.

If I was you and this game is so great , I wouldn't sell it , we all know you will just buy it again, infect I am sure you said you wouldn't be buying this game yet you were one of the first to have it.
 
Game seems okay on MP so far but has some major let downs.
The sound is just terrible, for me COD4 was the best sound-wise. MW2 was probably better but due to constant air support it was too hard to hear footsteps.
Another let down is spawn points, its hard enough trying to learn new maps as it is without having someone spawn behind you in an area you have just cleared and shoot you in the back.

The only problem I have is I really don't want to go back to playing MW2 for another year so will just have to stick it out with this.

Why the bitterness just because I said the detection is spot on. It certainly the best of the CODs I've played. Why do you get so hung up on kill cams being the gospel on hit detection. They have never been a 100% reflection on what happened. Killcams mean nothing. When I have my sight over someone and pull the trigger I'm getting hit recognition, that's all I care about not a killcam.

Why do you care about whether I buy or sell the game? I said I was unsure about getting it, I swayed each way in the end I got it and will be selling it. An impulse buy, on reflection I'd rather use my time to play other things. So what?

Will I get it again, probably when I feel the need to play another COD campaign. So what, I'm not selling because I hate the game, I just fancy something else.

You need to either do the same or go back to playing COD 4 where you were happy to use in game engine exploits that worked in your favour.
 
Liking the MP, miles miles miles better than MW2, just spent the last 2 hours coming in the top 1-2 on different game modes

Got a final kill cam with an r/c car and killed 2 guys :D
 
What exploits did I take advantage of on cod4 ?, the reason I get all hung up about you buying and selling it'd because nearly ever games thread you post the same thing, you buy it , complain then sell it , then buy it back again , then says it's great , then say it's rubbish , yet when I post summit your the first person to reply and disagree or say summit just to get a response.

I will play this just because I am bored with mw2, prob buy assassins creed next week. The main reason I am abit annoyed with black ops is because I gotta wait atleast a year for another cod.

What games would these be then. Come on list them. Off the top of my head the only games I can remember selling and rebuying are Halo 3 and COD4. I might have rebought fifa 07 after trying PES. 3 games from over 150. Yep that's nearly every games thread alright.

I have barely bought any games in the last 3 years so I'm interested to know where you get this magical story from.
