Actual financial value of your pride?

5p and above, will rarely pick up coppers as I just don't like having them in my pocket. I don't think picking up money is anything to be ashamed of, quite the opposite. People should be commended for looking after their finances.
I found a £20 note once, and found a few £5 notes.

I'm awaiting the Aberdonians to come in and justify that it's OK to steal the drain covers. ;)

Me and my mate found about £8 in pound coins around the bar at our local club :p

It was a busy night, it was £1 a drink, we were wasted. So we get 4 more drinks :)

Nothing to do with pride, but I wouldn't pick up anything less than a £1, as it's not worth the effort for my pocket.
However, if I was wanting to buy an icecream and I needed a few pence more I probably would pick it up.

1p will do!

Probably this for me too, get enough of them and you can put the lottery on! :p

In all seriousness, it depends on the situation. Often i'm not much short of the money i need for something so i'll go on a coin hunt. If there's no reason for it i'll probably just need it, somebody else can have it.

No pride here. I'd pick up the penny.

I would pick up the penny its nothing to do with pride. Anything I find like that goes into the charity tins with my other loose change
That's a great idea. Why didn't I think of that?

I'll pick up a penny if it's shiny, and also if I give it away it might give me luck for the rest of the day!

I found £10 in Brighton the other day. Parked up in a P&D space, opened the door of the van and it was right on the floor.

Did lose €20 once on holiday though, wind took it off on a beach!

EDIT- Also found a wallet in Cyprus, nothing in it other than £90 (CYP) about £110-120 (UK) at the time. NICE!
