It said if we sell ALL the property in the UK we will still be about a £1 Trillion short lol.
How the hell are we expected to get out of this?
Take Blair and Brown, hang them, charge £10 to watch.

Can't the UK just print loads of money off and give it to whoever they owe it to? Or isn't it as simple as that?

And thus ends the pathetic European social democracy experiment.

This is a very good question, they must borrow it off each other, unless there is a secret country.
yep, we need massive cuts and a new way of doing things. The tories cuts just don;t make an indent. We need total reform on so many things.
I've always thought benefits should be bare minimum to survive with cheap shared housing.
And surly we can reduce NHS a lot and cover the short fall with insurance policies. Some sort of NHS covers essentials and anything else is covered by relatively cheap insurance policies. All though would need to be fleshed out and thought about in much more detail.
or we could just cut NHS to zero for a year or two.
That's something I've not understood either. A lot of the developed world is in debt. There are two possibly three continents that are poorer than us. Where is this money going?
at least they are doing something about it. Can you imagine if labour had won? we would be borrowing more and cutting less. we would be utterly shafted. we still are, just not as badly![]()

Realisticly what is being done is insignificant as we have no real means to pay back all the debt, ever ... we will always be in debt.
