Right then just installed my 2 580gtx & cranked up my first benchmark....

Ran Heaven 2.1 - 1920 x 1200 quality settings all default (4xAA & normal tesselation etc)

FPS 107.5
score 2707
min 31.9
max 233.7

Win7 64 bit c Core i7 980x EE @ 4.2 (24/7 configuration)

Just a comment though - don't know where the rumour was that these ran quiet..... Having come from 2 x 5870 in CF these things are deafening! Thought my PC was gonna take off....

Airflow must not be getting to your cards then because 2x5780's in Crossfire can get the fans up to around 45% which is waay waay louder then what my EVGA GTX 580's are hitting.

Cooler master HAFx case with side fan blowing straight onto the cards.....

From about the 6th test of heaven started getting real noisy - i don't know if its just me though TBH.... My CPU cooler is set almost silent so the graphics dominates the overall noise. It wasn't so much fan I could here more high airflow.....

Might have to look at a more powerful side fan....

what are you getting in heaven at 1920 x 1200 on your rig.... I think my cards are running OK except for a bit of a stutter during the demo which gave me my low min fps..... However I'd feel better if i had something to compare. I was a bit lazy & just uninstalled all the ATI stuff prior to installing my new nvidia cards - usually I would do a full reinstallation but i'm too tired! I also forgot that win7 tries to install drivers from the net so it managed to dl some stuff on there before I could stop it.

The forceware drivers seemed to go on fine though afterwards.

Also what temps are you getting through this bench? Again nice to have something to compare against...

Cheers

:D
