HTC Desire HD (Ace)

I just got this phone and Im loving it, although reading reviews that say its not all that good depress me lol.

I know theres always fancy stuff about, but gad damn i just want it to be the best for a while haha
 
audio seems fine to me, although i find the headphones have been a bit off sounding on fm radio. Sound seems to move left to right

There have been complaints that the speaker isn't that good. Personally I've not had a problem with it and it seems fine to be, loud enough and the quality is ok imo. It's not earth shattering but then it's only a mobile phone. Music through my headphones sounds very good (Klipsch X1).

Got mine last week, its AMAZING. battery is poo. but i knew that, just have chargers here there and everywhere, bit data hungry but you can do so so much with it. i LOVE it. well worth the 2 year contract.
 
Just ordered the Desire HD on my contract renewal :D Won't get it until Monday/Tuesday though as my local CPW store are sold out and so are all of the others in Leicester apparently. Can't wait to get it - I will post back on my thoughts on it when I get it :)

Phoned my local T-Mobile store just now and they didn't get any in and apparently won't be getting any for at least 10 days "due to an issue with the software" so the guy said :rolleyes:

Am going to go into my local CPW and see if they can match / better the offer I was going with on T-Mobile direct - don't really care about loosing the cashback ... I just want the damn phone! :p
 
Im easily getting a 7AM-1AM use out of this now. Its faitly heavily used for about 5 hours of that.

I dont get the critisicm of the camera? Maybe because i was used to the Nexus One frankly AWFUl camera but i think the DHD has a really solid 8mp shooter much better than samsung Galaxy S.

Having compared my phone to my mates Galaxy S GOD GOD the screen on the SGS is immense. I previously said my Nexus one screen had my DHD licked all over and SGS just makes DHD look like it was made 5 years ago.

Saying that compare the materials used and the quality of build and also the custom skins on both and id say the DHD is a much better phone.

DHD + SAMOLED = WIN!!!
 
Well i did cancel my order with MPD as they were just taking to long, and then on Wednesday i choose an upgrade route with e2save who upgraded me on my O2 Contract, 600 mins, unlimited txt, £35 per month, £69 for the phone, it arrived yesterday :)

Havent had much chance to play with the phone, but coming from an old SE C905 its one hell of an upgrade, the DHD is a very well built phone, very happy with the upgrade.
