OC Stock of the Asus 580

Why the ASUS? and pay a lot more money for it?,as for the voltage tweak that asus advertise you can simply use MSI afterburner to achieve the same Overclocks.

Ive just took delivery of a Point Of View 580,all the 580s are reference cards at the moment so its pointless paying that bit more unless you value the extra 1 years warranty that asus offer?

If your quick there are 3 POVs left and 4-5 KFAs 580s.

Basically because I trust ASUS (not saying I dont trust POV, I just never had them before) and after being burned by the Palit I want this stuff just to work ;)

From what i can gather Asus are not that great when RMA is concerned with there components,ive read several reports on there RMAs taking forever,its hard to find a decent company these days that offer a good reliable rma service tbh.

As for POV,ive never had any experience with there aftermarket support.

Yeh companies dont realise how important a good RMA experience is. My old card a BFG GTX 280 *had* a 10 year warranty until BFG went bust :( and now its pretty borked....

I believe PNY have taken over BFG RMA's, perhaps you may be in luck. You'd need to look into it in a bit more detail.

We are due 10 today or Monday, can't guarantee delivery today. So far 7 are pre-sold!
 
Gibbo, what's with the price hike on the 580's? Seem to have gone up by quite a bit since the beginning of the week, most of your competitors are considerably cheaper for the same cards.
