Truly Colourful & Beautiful Autumn Photography

I've been trying to get a good time to do some autumn photography but the weather and or painting the house has put a stop to it :(.

I took a shot just like that of my local park and lost it due to being new with digital and poor at backing importing! Erased the copy on my memcard n didnt save the large file on computer.
Really nice tones to these. Were they taken on a film slr? Looks like it but if not really great for a dslr

Time of day or time during the month / months? This will depend of course on where you live, as certainly up here there's been the variety of colours in the leaves for about 3 - 4 weeks and now with the winds the leaves are just disappearing so I would think the best of autumn photography will be over soon.

I thought that some of the shots in that link were over saturated, but a cracking set none the less :)
 
those are pretty damn good! Don't think mine are quite in the same league but I took an autumn picture last weekend that I'm pretty happy with. :)
