Max Power magazine

He could at least have spent some of that money putting a C20LET in it lol

I find it barmy that somebody could spend £40,000 on a corsa C just to tart up the cosmetics.

I can say that I've never bought or read a copy, but someone told me that recently they'd gone a bit less downmarket? (I would use upmarket, but that's probably going too far!)

have you seen the cover car on this months mag ?

Its got a Vauxhall Corsa C with Porsche 997 Turbo Alloys and he's had to effectively make a bespoke body kit to fit around then.

Total spend mentioned in the mag including hifi etc.. £40,000

Power

128bhp

ROFLMAO.

Ahhhahahahaha!!

Just spat tea all over my desk!

I was kinda glad to hear Max Power is no more... but I kinda wish it was sticking around as it's just pure comedy!

I read one or two max power mags in the day long before I could drive, lol, got bored.

I only really read Fast Ford now, I read Performance Ford occassionally, but after this months issue of PF, I'm thinking it's a dubious name for a magazine who feature a car and devote a 6 page spread to it, when all it is is a slightly lowered Mk.7 Fiesta Zetec-S TDCi!

I did read it for a few years in the early days, it wasn't actually a bad mag in those early years. Shame to see a long running mag go, but it really is past it's sell by date now.

I use to read it in the late 90s. As the literacy went downhill and the flesh increased to the point where I was embarrassed to buy it, I stop buying.

Revs was better and more down to earth but then in a moment of shear stupity re-invented itself as a MP clone.

Bought EVO for a bit but was called a "Phillistine" by James May when I asked him to autograph a copy :D

How can anyone spend 40k on a Corsa, i mean even stupid people cant be that stupid.
