Whats your backup card?

Palit GTS 250 E-Green in my media PC. Always like to put my backup stuff to work!

Apart from a spare 800W PSU - always very handy to have one of those lying around ready to test a faulty PC.

It plays nearly every darn game really well too - sometimes I wonder why I bother chasing newer graphics cards. With consoles leading development, older cards do just fine in most cases.

If the 1gb 4870 ever broke/blew up/went on fire then the backup is a 1gb 9800GT. Failing that I have an 256mb 8800GT with Zalman cooler, would be good fun running anything at hi-res on that... :|

I've got a backup Zalman equipped 7300GT (basically a 7600gs) and an X800 as backup cards. The 7300 is the prefered card though because its damned quiet and low power consumption so is a little more viable in a wide range of machines.

These are backup cards though not gaming cards...
Faster cards left over tend to get sold, have too high power requirements to be able to whack them into anything needing a card temporarily, or go to family members. (2900GT as an example)

Edit: Actually tell a lie, think I have a 2900XT in a box somewhere too... somewhere is the key term on that though, thats virtually out to pasture.
