Fallout Vegas on PC, Xbox or PS3?

ive had lots of crashes on the PC version, but that may have been because i had to try one of the numerous fixes to stop all the stuttering when turning.

try turning you graphics down a bit

the ingame options. i think they alter the distance in which object appear

it worked for me

Coming from the PC version I'd say avoid it until the crashing, stability issues are resolved. Every review even mentions them, otherwise I would normally recommend Fallout for the pc platform as it'll always be the best one for this sort of large scale title.

No idea how buggy the 360 versions are by comparison though.

If a title is multi format i always go PC everytime because i can crank up the visuals and of course there's the modding community

I had loads of problems with the pc version so I got the xbox version and it worked straight out of the box :)
PC version had horrible stuttering that I couldn't fix.

In my opinion, this is a great sofa game, so it has to be console. I play on PS3, and I must say it's fine, stutters every now and again, but nothing awful.

With VATS it's not a twitch shooter that needs keyboard and mouse, suits a laid back play style:)

+1 playing it on the 360 with no problems at all so far.

Playing this on a console would be like have a shower with dog poo, its just not the done thing

I'm running it on an 8800GTS 640 which is a three year old card and it runs smooth with all settings on Ultra quality in 1680

I'm all for saying console but in this case I would say PC was a good choice because, as mentioned, at least you can sort out most of the bugs that you can encounter.

PC, lots of great mods and you can fix stuff yourself quite easily. Plus the graphics are miles better if you have a system from the last 3 years or so, an 8800GT (old now) will give you a much better graphical experience than either 360 or PS3.
