***The official Dell Streak thread***

Does anyone have any idea why I have problems posting on ocuk from my streak. I'm running 2.1 6941, I surf fine and browsing is quick and responsive but when I come to post a reply it takes ages to register the post, sometimes just freezing up.

Ideas anyone?
 
mine broke within 14 days,the screen was going wierd,like if i held the phone in diffrent positions,i returned it and got iphone4 instead.

anyone else have screen problems?

Can you define weird? Mine seems to stop responding apart from a small strip on the left side of the screen then just starts working again randomly :|
 
it was like currupting,like a chess board if you held it from the sides with a little bit of pressure it was currupting.i think they are made too big,and the screen was flexing

Meh, been running the official Dell update for unlocked devices on my O2 one and it's OK. Stephen Hyde's custom ROM (StreakDroid) is a lot better imo.
 
Already out of stock :( Was thinking about getting one for a portable satnav device :D

Total bargain for the hardware (decent 5" screen with gorilla glass, snapdragon, big battery, iPhone 4 camera etc)

Bah just seen this. Would have bought one immediately if I'd seen it last night....grrrr..! :mad:
 
I could have had it only i don't get paid til monday.

Damn shame id have snapped it up as well.

Im not willing to pay the current asking prices, not with dual core on the way.

£200 was bang on the money imo, hope they do it again.

To be honest even at the higher price its totally worth it. I paid £400 near launch for mine and I'm still happy with it; it's amazing being able to watch iPlayer in bed with a brilliant screen size on something that's still so portable, as well as the other apps you can get for it.
 
Yeah i went in store and they won't match it, despite it being the same place, online is different which is such a shame.

Anyway had a quick play and it's fantastic little device, deserves more credit then it gets, it's like a mini samsung tab only better imo, though don't drop it from what i've heard it cracks very easily then your buggered.

Quite fast, faster than a galaxly obviously as it's a ti omap sitting in there.

Sigh ah well, perhaps i'll get a dual core later on.

It's even better with a custom ROM. Crazy fast and it looks lovely too :D
